Dragon Sugar

The First time I heard about Dragon Sugar It was back almost one millennia ago, and I was surprised to hear that the Salt Druids were referring to it as a true sweet salt. Dragon Sugar is undistinguishable from regular white sugar when looking at it or by its scent, but when tasted it so sweet that even a small dash can replace a large portion of regular white sugar.

The secret to this sweet splendor is known only to the ever so secretive Salt Druids, and even most of the members within the Order of The Salt Druids do not know much about Dragon Sugar, other than it is approved as a salt for their most holy days of salt worship, which before the Dragon Sugar used to be limited to a very salty meal palate with few options.

The during the Dragon Month and especially during the 9 day tail week, Dragon Sugar sweets, and sweetened foods of all kinds are consumed all over Thalmariea.

Dragon Sugar is in spite of popular belief not very popular among most dragons, the exceptions are Salt Dragons, Green Dragons and most of the ocean dwelling dragons that has acquired quite a Dragon Sugar Sweet tooth.

The cults of Methin and Swoltia also swear to rather use of Dragon Sugar in their ritualistic meals, though they also use many other spices, salts and sweet variants that nature offers us.

I find for myself Dragon Sugar to be a bit too sweet; maybe I am just old fashion, as an elf of before Sharisnai I would still rather have some honey or brown sugar with my meals.
